Installation Instructions
Remove all doors, drawers, and shelves from cabinets before installation.
Check for uneven floors and walls. Some floors and walls have uneven spots that could affect the installation. Scraping or sanding off plaster may be needed. Shim or scribe cabinets as necessary to make the installation plumb and square.
Locate the highest point on the flo3. floor. Use a level and chalk line to mark a level line on the wall all around the kitchen. This is your base line.
Measure 34 1/2” from the base line. Use a level and chalk line to mark a level line on the wall all around the kitchen. Run the line parallel with the base line. This will be your reference for base cabinet installation.
Measure 54” from the base line. Use a level and chalk line to mark a level line on the wall all around the kitchen. Run the line parallel with the base line. This will be the bottom line reference for wall cabinet installation.
Find and mark the wall studs in your kitchen. Check for receptacle outlets. Wall studs will generally be located near outlets. For most homes, wall studs will measure 16” on center.
Install wall cabinets first, starting with the corner cabinet. We recommend using #10 x 2 1/2” trusshead screws to attach cabinets to wood studs. Pre-drill using a 3/16” (5mm) drill bit before mounting cabinets to wall. (Hardware not included.)
After installing all wall cabinets, install base cabinets starting with the corner cabinet. We recommend using #10 x 2 1/2” trusshead screws to attach cabinets to wood studs. Pre-drill using a 3/16” (5mm) drill bit before mounting cabinets to wall. (Hardware not included.)
After installing all cabinets, re-attach all doors and drawers. Adjust door and drawer fronts to show equal reveal between the doors and drawers. Make these adjustments before adding pulls or knobs.
